Hank has retired to a lovely home in North Carolina for his golden years. He is blessed to be loved by two adorable boys. We are incredible grateful to have found such a perfect home for him.
Hank is a handsome boy that never met a stranger. He has an excellent golden temperament, and loves children most of all. Fun-loving, if not a bit of a goof, he fills our lives with such joy and entertainment. Highly intelligent with a slight independent streak, Hank has challenged me to become a better trainer. With hard work, he has proven himself to be a willing worker. Before the age of 2, Hank earned his CGC, Beginner Novice, Rally Novice, as well as his Companion Dog title, plus 2 Pre-Novice legs. In the fall of 2014, Hank received one Rally Advanced leg, and we quickly earned his title. Hank has always placed in the top 3 in the class (Usually 1st or 2nd), with an average obedience score of 197 (out of 200), average Rally scores of 98 (out of 100). Spring of 2016, Hank and I will begin training for his tracking title. As members with AMPWDA, we are confident Hank will also become a certified Search and Rescue Dog, alongside our GSD, Agnes.
Hank is a moderate boy, standing 23″ tall, and averaging weight of 70 pounds. He has a full, double coat, correct and full bite, lovely expression, solid topline and nice front. His gate is clean coming and going, as well as having nice foot-timing. Hank is a proven stud, having sired 3 litters of 14 for us here at Grapevine, and 2 litters of 8 to outside females. Some of his pups are going on to become therapy dogs and dock jumpers. We will always be thankful to Hank for our start here at Grapevine.
